My life at SNI ... grc

JohnDay:I could be entirely off of centre on this, but have you called SNI to be sure about the CDL classes? I do know, as well as yourself, that SNI is hiring inexperienced drivers again. IMHO, they might just start up the CDL program. Please don't take that as fact, it's only my thought, and it could be entirely wrong.

I sent in an online application to SNI yesterday. I didn't see anything on there or the website about about the CDL training. I am waiting to see if I hear back from them this week. If they say anything about the CDL program I will let you know.

Ive spent a few hour in Monroe too ! appreciate the words of wisdom about attitude, seems like that is almost as important as your CDL is in driving. Your avatar is a european flag,right ? I would be interested in seeing any info. on a training program from SNI as well..thanks for all the other useful info as well. Keep us posted, I emailed them (SNI) a few weeks ago with a question and never heard back..( got busy and never followed up) . I think most here agree that You need to follow up with a phone call.

 

Oh yeah, it's European, but not Denmark. It's St.Andrews cross, the flag of Scotland. My grandparents came across in the 1930's, spent some time in Nova Scotia, then came here. I'm so Scot/Irish, I even have a Celtic cross tat on my right inside forearm. Plus, if we ever meet in person, you might question where I'm really from!!

 

Hey man, when tomorrow rolls around, give SNI a call and ask about the CDL thing. If they in fact have started the academy again, it could save you some bucks. But then again, they used to have a contract for a year afterwards.

difference maker SNI does not have a school but on there website they do have a list of school they work with..

 

I called one near me but they wanted me to start in their program right away. I am not able to afford 3 wks without work while obtaining my CDL. and the guy didn't even mention SNI as a company they work with until I mentioned them. The school I chose I can take night classes to get my CDL and then once I have it I can head out to the trucking world.
