BTW: I ended up with multiple posts by trying to edit some typos in the first as well as two of the pics showing multiple times. I didn’t see an edit option so I paged back, saw I could make changes, made them then posted again. From my end I couldn’t see any but one post. Was there an edit button somewhere I missed? Maybe I should have tried more options?

Going to a shop that has no clue what they are doing or replacing switches seems to be a waste of time. -
Either way, it wasn't a big deal for me to clean-up for you.2016Lonestar and REO6205 Thank this. -

The switch is blinking due to a circuit fault with the dump solenoids. There are two electric over air solenoid that control the dump operation. Usually what happens is the board they plug into becomes corroded. Chances are you need a new mounting board and new dump solenoids. What ever program was used to read the codes is insufficient. The body controller will certainly be logging codes. Check out this thread for some more info;

Chances are if you do track down the problem on your own and replace the solenoid(s) if that’s what the problem is you’ll probably still have to go to a dealer to have your cab computer calibrated again with the new parts.
I had a pressure switch on my firewall that would go wonky if it rained while I parked. The suspension gauge would read way light, like set off the traction control alarm when bobtail because it would read under 5psi. I ordered the switch, swapped it out, then had to take it to Peterbilt so they could make the cab module play nice with the new part I plugged in.2016Lonestar Thanks this. -

Update:
I’ve not done anything else except put the dash back to normal. Yesterday (Sunday) I pressure washed the underside of the truck to clean the differentials, tranny etc.
Now I’m not suggestion that had anything to do with changes of status I have seen since. After a few hrs from when I finished washing I noticed the dump switch went back to flashing as it had for months before I installed the new switch panel. I thought “maybe the bags inflated like they would be all those months too” I checked…Nope
Then I went to work for 11 hrs today. My truck stayed parked the whole time. I started it up to move it just now and the bags are inflated ♂️. The other change is the yellow warning triangle and the check engine icon are lit in the dash. It’s evening so I’m not interested in checking what codes are active yet but asked a mechanic that has the laptop and program to check and clear codes to see what he can see when he gets around to it. No rush. My guess is I’ll see something making mention of the BCM but just the guess of a novice. To be continued
