My Millis Transfer Experience Starting 9/19/11

Your not coming to Millis? What's up with that?

 

I spent 5 weeks out this time around except for a quick trip in for one day to attend a funeral. I was ready to come home and spend some time with the family. Ran some good miles while I was out and will be updating my mileage maybe tomorrow. I'll let you all know about that when I get it done. Saw the newest class in Trenton on Thursday. Didn't really get to talk to the class after they got in off the road. They were working hard on their log books. Ran in to Bear at the Pilot on Friday morning. I had to move my truck up to the pilot, because there was no room there the night before. So I parked down the road at a little truck stop and went home. Went back the next morning and drove back up to the pilot and dropped the trailer and headed to the house (after registering with the Pilot), but not before talking to Bear. He was headed out after his home time. After 2 months of being solo I'm loving it. Driving a truck OTR is something I always wanted to do and I came close to doing this 3 or 4 other times and I finally did it and I have no regrets. I also planned and saved to make sure I had money to make in through school and for getting supplies that I would need. Good luck to all the guys in school or thinking about signing up.
