My Name Is Earl!

    Hello to all my brothers and sisters...my name is Earl. I spent 27 years in aviation, to be furloughed after TWA was purchased by American Airlines. I have had a CDL (class A) since 1977, I used it as a "backup" plan during furloughs.

    I have been in unions for many years, the IAM, the TWU, and currently the IBT. The great state of Missouri sent me through a refamiliarization class, at my request, as I had not driven for many years and felt it to be required for your safety as well as mine..LOL!

    My employment in trucking has been....15 months with a good flatbedding outfit in Sabetha, Kansas...23 months with Roadway Express...out of Kansas City, Ks..local 41.

    This next Change of Operations affecting us will see me once again facing a furlough...oh well...been a "great ride"!
