My sister in law works shipping/receiving at a frozen foods MFG here in Ohio..........I guess the smells that come through the office window are amazing. How is it I can chain 3 coils INSIDE a hot steel mill in July and smell better than a guy who's hardest job is waddling to the back of his trailer?![]()

Hey now...I've done both deals and I will say that hauling iron was the most physical, but dealing with the reefer side was more mental. I still can't explain the waddling and smell many of the door swingers have.
Even with my very busy schedule of 5-15 stops in 3 days and weird delivery hours I still have time to shower and eat right. Maybe it helps that I lump my own freight too.

I think it comes down to volume. There are probably about the same amount of smelly flatbedders as there are smelly van drivers percentage wise, however van and reefer is more common.

I don't care what you haul, take a shower and change your clothes.
Also sweatpants and slippers/flip flops are not work attire. I swear some of these fattys would wear a hospital gown if they could. If tying your shoes is so difficult then maybe you should wash your mouth out with a revolver instead of doing it slowly with those truck stop chili dogs.

Now that I wouldn't doubt. Hey now that your pulling a flat remember no matter what you see at a truck stop the chains belong on your trailer, not on your wallet.

Soooo is a strap how you properly secure your wallet then?
