My name smeared by DAC report

Hey all, not new to driving but new to these forums after lurking for years. I wonder has anyone else that are victims to false DAC reporting?

I understand the intent of HireRight is to keep the safest drivers on the road, but golly, the megas are very corrupt and abuse the system. I madr the mistake of starting off with horrible companies that ruined my DAC. Then I moved to a new city, with tons of lovely LOCAL jobs that pay better than OTR. But...they use the DAC system.

It's been 3 years since I walked fresh outta driving school with a CDL...and one of my biggest regrets was starting my career off with trash companies like werner, cr england, titan transfer, schneider, etc. Hoping that new rookie drivers would do their homework before they end up with a terrible dac like mines... Rant over, sorry for the long read.

 

I've been doing that for years. No success yet.

 

As a noob driving a few years ago, people would purposely drive too closely to my truck, then whine to the police when my landing gear tapped their vehicle. Very very small tap, not a bump or scratch. 0 damage, 0 injury, 4 false items on DAC.

 

The report was "backing" and the person that whined to the cops was following too closely to begin with.
