Dropped mine. Relay trailer not here or I have the wrong trlr on the preplan. No bills in the only other trlr running. Dispatch is taking the night off.....

$2800 is about half what you'll pay on the "open market." But checking with whatever companies you want to work for is essential...as you now know!

 

Will be emailing them for a list of companies that accept their grads...thanks for the advice guys.

 

I would ask the trucking companies you want to work for, not just the school, because they might not have the most current information; things change pretty quickly.

That is what I would do as well if I was going to any driving that's not a tech. college. The private schools are there to make money, think of it as a used car salesman mentality. I'm not saying Roehl's school is that way but from a couple people that I know that have went though DDTS in Sun Prairie, that is the mentality there. Good Luck in your decision. Roehl's school is supposed to be pretty good from reports here.

 

Well I get my new mattress tomorrow and then get it set in the truck. Its gonna be much better than the mattress in there now. There is a company that builds them here in town. You tell them what you want and they build it and its ready the next day. I have been thinking of a way to mount my 25 inch monitor for my movies and tv shows in 1080p. Got a idea that I think might work and only have to use a couple of pieces of wood and some double edge outdoor tape to make a shelf at the foot of the bed.

Have any of you folks tracked total miles for the year?

I started this new gig (non GTI) @ the end of Feb and just crossed 125k (even with a couple of extended shop stays)
