Anyone running on I-94 in Michigan be advised that parts of it will be closed temporarily while the state removes snowbanks from median.

Does anyone know why the QC information would not be "available?" Here's what several citations say:

When you don't fill out the "load" portion. It's just like filling out a log. Trailer number, load, BOL and dates.

Lot of guys are getting their chops busted for not completing their logs.. you must also approve them daily as well

    joseph1135 Thanks this.

That's good to know; I will have some adjustment. My previous employer never filled out anything about the load nor were we required to approve them daily; we only put in the most basic information (tractor/trailer numbers, arrived/departed times but nothing about the load) and approved our logs once a week. And we generally only used 4 QC macros...my guess is THAT will change!

By the way, I got that citation from my own previous company and noticed it on several carriers I checked on, including GTI; it's a pretty common citation.

You must change load info on every load.. the same information you put on paper logs is still required on elogs...approving the logs each day is like signing it..when you swap trailers on the same load you simply edit the load info and add the additional trailer... just make sure you also show a vir for the new trailer as well as on duty time..
