I dont even want to get started.. all I can say is that the last 2.weeks have been so bad that I told them I was going home next week and taking some vacation.
My miles have been insulting and when I say anything I get another crappy load.
if this is what the future holds for this.place.you can call me gone...joseph1135 Thanks this. -
After I get out of riverside I have a load up to Clackamas Oregon not too bad. Will have 3600 miles for the week. Can't wait to get to Pacific though.

Ok.. so here I sit at the Ramada Inn in green bay.. truck in shop for a service and they told me to get a room if I wanted any sleep...
At this point I really don't care. Nothing else has gone right this month so why start now.
less than 4k miles since leaving the house on the 30th.
You see "DD" this is called stress relief.....DenaliDad Thanks this. -
Well, I have finally started to pick up after an absolutely dreadful start to the year what with waiting on trucks to be repaired and 'temporary' trucks, crap miles, crappier weather... 2,300 miles for this week and a 2 stop pick up today in Chelan,WA and Brewster,WA headed for Clarksville,AR for Tuesday morning.
The big problem with this industry is that Joe Public neither gets nor cares that when we have weeks, months like myself (until this week) and Tow have had we don't make any money other than a derisory $70 per day...although there are companies who do not pay layover at all. Another thing that people and dispatchers (not the separation!!) is that when you are cooped up in a motel for several days while your truck is repaired is that you cannot eat out of your truck (cheaper!!) and spend most of the time dodging between restaurants and usually have to hang around a terminal, truck stop or at the shop where you are for the rest of the day. I have always maintained that ANY office staff (if they do not have trucking experience) should have to spend at least a week on the road with a driver to get some sort of flavor for what we actually do rater than just being a truck number on their AS400 screen.tow614, vikingswen, Newtrucker bak and 2 others Thank this. -
So I find out from masterfleet that there is something else wrong with my truck but they cant tell me what it is. Check back this afternoon and they can tell me more.
I was just here for a service and the truck is running fine.

Usually the way things go nowdays, oil and greae job leads to additional downtime , have a new CASCADIA in for basic service no problems now waiting on a new ECM to be delivered. -
Seen this in Ocala, FL today. I've been running Florida Georgia consistently the past 3 years and this is the first I've seen a gti truck in this far down.
chowick1966, joseph1135, DenaliDad and 2 others Thank this.
