    Been following this thread with interest.

    Thanks for posting, Joeseph.

    I gather OTR is the best paying at GTi, as I've learned it is elsewhere, but maybe I didn't catch it? Is the reefer division still having troubles?

    Maybe it's a question for another thread, but why would anyone have a problem running a reefer load? It's just a thermostat for a 53 X 10 ft room.

    Some people do. I can't sleep without it. Lol. It's what I'm used to now. I would assume otr is best paying. I live on the east coast plus have over 10 years exp plus on the reefer fleet, so I'm at the higher end of the payscale.

    No paid for truck washes on the reefer side. We have a corporate account with blue beacon to get our reefers washed out though. The first few times I sent in the mac10 for a washout, but lately I just go and get it done, havent had any issues. (And maybe they know that after an onion load its gonna need one no matter what lol)

    Also waiting to see how things shake out for us reefer guys now that there has been a change in leadership. I know things were really bad for two weeks before they announced the change, but that could have been the normal fubars that happen anytime a new person takes over.

    Alright. Crazy week this week. Went from CA up to Seattle,then the DPF starting acting up (again) so it went to VFI for repairs and they repaired everything. Took a little while, but it is what it is. Truck is fixed and washed (dude actually did a decent job). I did some local work in a temp POS,truck ran great but it has ten years of other drivers neglecting it. Got my truck back yesterday and slept all day, I bought my own mattress and its super comfortable. Last night, finished off someone else's trip then got a load from Connell, WA down to OKC, real nice load for the weekend. I had screwed up my paperwork and instead of the usual flipping out that most do, we went through it and had a laugh or two. Kinda nice to be talked to like a human being, lol. All in all a week that could've sucked (and should have) wasn't all that bad.

    I've been in a few Gordon trucks. I like their Cascadias! Not a fan of their 62mph limiters, but if you mostly run Cali, it's perfect!
