Geez victor !!! It seems like only yesterday you were calling me a troll !!! I am amazed how you find time to cruise this site looking for anyone who has a successful experience with Gordon only to pounce on them and ridicule them.. do I detect a bit of jealousy here.. I would say this is probably an example of your behavior throughout life.. there is a name for that. It's called Napoleons or little big mans disease.. if you can't succeed then destroy anyone who can. You should consider a career in politics.

Nope. Gotta learn how to work kid. That's the way I think. I ran into a driver today. With Gordon 14 years. Darned nice guy too. Had lunch and chatted for an hour. He knows how to work. Didnt have to tell him. He got it. And he's another who's beaten the odds. I'm proud toshare the road with that man. Gotta learn how to work kid means exactly this: I'm not special. I don't do anything that you couldn't. You want to make it in life, you gotta learn how to work.

If I spent over $1,200 on a car or a truck I'd throw up. Used to buy new cars, paid cash, seemed to make sense then. Now I want no more invested in a car than absolutely necessary for something reliable. I usually buy them in 2's--not right off, but eventually. Used to have MPV's. Now 2 '97 Merc Sables. If I come across another '87 F350 6.9 ltr... I'll snap it up.

Hi, tow614. Your comment says a lot more about you than me. It's quite the reverse. Anything negative about Gordon seemingly sends you into a personal, name-calling, snarky tizzy like the above. Grow up. Gordon is one of the best of the worst and that about sums it. Great equipment, excellent driver support and lousy pay. Pay is fairly easy to figure out. Dollars in divided by hours traded out. I liked Gordon; not Gordon's pay and bountiful peewee loads. You know that. Peewee loads = peewee pay, after all. You can Say-It-Ain't-So, but you haven't stepped forward with anything more than braggadocio (and insults). Let's see some daily miles/daily driving hours/daily on-duty hours. You do have a QualComm there, right? Let's get past your insults and frothing at the mouth smokescreen and put more facts out. Let's have a better, fuller and factual picture of Gordon. If you're going to claim the miles, claim the driving hours, too. Under the new HOS. : 0 ) Vic

Lol.. here at the indy terminal today.. got the low down on you.... needless to say everyone still remembers you...lolbut I do believe you are the one who did the name calling anytime someone points out the real reason for your failure was your lack of experience. You hired on here claiming to be an experienced driver and Gordon accepted that. Obviously you were one of those guys who slipped through the cracks and you couldn't cut it. Now you are still stalking every good driver out here trying to bring them down to your level. I don't need to prove anything to you.. you wouldn't believe it anyway.

Why not just explain rather than complain? Lanes, daily miles, driving hours, on duty hours.

The problem victor I see is that instead if insisting that it can't happen, you should be asking why can't you get it to work for you.

I'm just asking you to cut with the name-calling and prove up. I'm probably not the only one interested in your '3225 miles this week so far'. Inquiring minds want to know... where you went for 3225 miles 'so far', daily driving hours and on-duty time. Anyone can make a claim. Can you back it up?

BTW, I've taken time off to work on my property. Drywall, electrical, carpentry and playing with my pups and bird feeding. joseph, I'm doing fine. Thanks. Faster trucks (buttoned at 71), better runs, they all return to Indy. And part-time. All breakdown time at $18/hour. All load/unload time over 2 hrs paid at $18/hr.

Gordon is a good company with lots of pee-wee loads and I think it's a misrepresentation to tell drivers otherwise. To imply that if they sign up with Gordon they'll run 3,000 miles a week under the new HOS, for example, is false. I think tow614 should explain his lanes, driving hours, on-duty hours for 3,225 miles 'so far' this week. Inquiring minds want to know. : 0 )
