My new adventure with Gordon Trucking

I have had 5 trucks... what does that make me...1/400? 5/2000?

 

Well.. almost done getting a couple of tires replaced on this trailer..time to get back to work

 

As a driver looking for the last trucking company I will work for (I retired from the federal government with 27 years history and hoped NOT to have to work, but being on the losing end of a lawsuit killed that rabbit good), and being one who is a bit anal about knowing everything there is to know about whatever I'm thinking about, and being one who wants more control over whatever I'm in than a company driver usually gets, I most appreciate NOT hearing a bunch of whiney, sniveling L/O haters doing their best to badmouth what they see as company "flease" operations. Of course one must read the fine print. Duh. Of course one must be willing to learn about things a company driver doesn't have to know. Duh. And one must accept that there will be rich weeks and poor weeks. Duh.

But I appreciate being given credit for making my own decisions without personal attacks because I'm investigating something another person might think is whooey. So, Gordon drivers and contributors, whether you think this is a good company or not, whether you think leasing is a good deal or not, thanks for being level-headed about this. I appreciate the debate, discussion, and opposing opinions.

My search for knowledge continues.

 

Have you checked which divisions some NFL teams are in? They probably went to the same school.

 

You wrote that in August. Care to expound a bit on why you hated it at first?

Sorry I don't have anything constructive or destructive to say. Kinda like a lot of folks on here. But this thread makes me rubberneck like the flashing lights of an ambulance by the side of the road. Anyways continue to I'll stop in from time to time
