I feel left out. All I have here at the receiver in beautiful downtown Port Huron, Michigan, is pretty heavy rain. Warm rain.
Alas, fear not, snow lovers. Our days of lake effect snow start soon enough.

The passive-aggressive "you are not important to me" is hilarious from the guy who continues to troll Josephs thread. Comedy is not deadjoseph1135 Thanks this. -
Wow, Craig you are on fire today. Seems like all the threads I follow you are busting somebodies chops.

Hey, lol, I like working here. Always have miles and good insurance and a great truck. I make decent money as well. Tow and most others as doing just as well here. Sure. They're a "mega". But don't follow the "mega" rules. They actually care a little about their drivers.

Good to hear you still are doing good. I have left my last company and picked a new lane. I will do produce runs to Alaska. I got all my orientation stuff this week out of the way. Looks like I will head out Monday. I am not sure if I will head straight North or have to go South to pick up a load and then run it all the way to Alaska. Seems like my timing could not have been better.
I do will miss my brand new 780 Volvo. I ended up with a 387 Pete with a C-13 and a 13 speed. I forgot to look at the HP rating, but the jake seems pretty weak just the couple bob tail runs I have done around town made me miss the Volvo's engine break for sure. Better slow down quite a bit in the hills and look for low gears before I bob sled of into the wild.

There are two other companies getting my assessment and I'm not really sure how I'm going to pick between them when it comes right down to it. It might be as simple as reading how trucks handle the winter weather or the color or an experience I have with another driver out on the road or whether my daughters see them or not in the Lawton area or...well, pretty much anything.
Time will tell. I don't like being rushed.vikingswen and joseph1135 Thank this. -
