They have many of them. Automatic Freightliners, too! I would like that.

Lol. That automatic would go well with your inability to change lights.

After getting unloaded and discovering that there was damaged product - a viscous green liquid that leaked through the van floor onto tires and pooled on the ground - was engine coolant, I was sent to get a trailer washout. It would have been a nice experience for me; in 3 years, I've never had one. Alas, the address they sent me to was a shuttered, chained, and locked property, so instead of hunting around for it - I was already a bit late for my next drop/hook - I just hit the road.

To be exact, I hit the New Jersey Turnpike. I haven't been on that road in decades and they have certainly improved it in North Jersey. However, it didn't get me to my shipper in Perth Amboy in time, so here I am on the side of the local street, APU running, until the day crew gets here to sort me out.

I'm supposed to drop this trailer and pick up another one, but PTL doesn't know which one - and there are at least two that I saw during a quick walk-through! How, you ask, can that be?!? I, too, asked. There is no answer. So I wait.

And I have learned something about this TriPac. When it's on, it will start and shut down by itself, presumably to charge the batteries, with no action from me. That is not the case with the a/c. That has to be energized manually.

Me, either. The interesting thing about this company is we were told during orientation that we carry a lot of hazmat and everyone will...just not in quantities enough to trigger the placarding. I just carried about 47,000 pounds of petroleum products from Pinnacle Oil, including the coolant that spilled out, and I'm pretty sure most of it was haz...

Oh, well. The van was sealed and I can plead ignorance!

Hey! Let's get the terminology right. It's not inability. It's lack of desire! As George Carlin might say, I 'got no wanna!'

What is the shipper going to say when they open up your MT trailer and see all that green stuff inside???
