    Big G have you lost you're mind?....lol
I cannot run teams. I'm just too independent. And I sure as hell did not like to sleep with the truck in motion. No
Reefers either. I did that crap at Trans Am. Never again. But some people do enjoy it I'm just not one of them. The main issue I had Reefers is the long wait times. I sometimes had to set an entire day waiting to get loaded at a produce warehouse. Then you get to the receiver and they reject the load because it's 2 degrees too warm. What a pain in the ###! G you are doubting yourself too much. We all make mistakes. Just learn from them and go forward. As strict as CT is, lots of drivers in this group would be fired. You just need to find a little more laid-back company to drive for. Beacon would probably be a good fit. They don't have all the micromanagement that CT did. Don't doubt yourself because of what happened to you at CT.

Smurf, that means a whole to me, buddy! You just made my day and gave me some hope. I had some strange stuff happen, but nothing (I think) that would disqualify me. Yeah I have rethought the team thing. I was grasping at straws. Waiting on my DAC is killing me!!! Swift, JB Hunt, Celadon are posting jobs in my area. I guess CT has to create a vacuum to keep their recruiting team busy!

Find a smaller company G. That way you're not competing with a hundred and fifty other drivers for a load. There was not a thing on my DAC from cargo. There is nothing that happened to you at cargo that would disqualify you at most any company. Most of the time they are looking for things like DUI and preventable accidents. particularly two or more accidents in the last 3 years. As far as I know you don't have anything like that. Just some minor mishaps. You might want to look into Abilene Express out of Richmond Virginia. I believe they are home every weekend have pretty nice equipment. Or if you want let me know and I will tell Beacon your situation and we will see what they say.

G I forgot you used to work for Abilene. Well there sure are plenty of other companies. You should talk to Chief Express out of Seagrove North Carolina. Small company around 100 trucks. No touch freight they are also home every weekend. Starting at 42 / mile I believe. I don't know how strict they are about the things in your past but I would think you would be alright. And I really think you would like it at Beacon if you could handle the 7 to 10 day trips.

Yeah, I don't really mind a 2cpm pay cut. But losing out on the creature comforts like a fridge is tough. The 7-10 day trips are not a deal breaker. Might even get to see a little more country than at CT. That was wearing on me.

It would be true Chicken Sierra if they gave you a preventable for locking the keys in the truck. You made a mistake and overcame it in the only way you could to satisfy the customer, should be a plus, not a negative.

LMAO, RIGHT! If I didn't do that then I am stuck all weekend at the Pilot in Newburgh NY waiting to load Monday morning which is when the load is due and I got it there on Sunday. Seven extra mile awards and my screw ups do me in. Oh well.

Well there is nothing stopping you from putting a fridge in yourself. Personally I got the plug in cooler that works pretty well. And I got me a trucker GPS at the Pilot for $150 on sale. Just need to get me a stereo with XM and I'll be good. It's nice to have that stuff. But I'm not gonna work for a crap company with low miles just for a fridge & satellite radio. I can get those things myself and they belong to ME! Had all that stuff at CT but the miles sucked! Looks like the miles are here if you wanna run them.

So just to update. Took a load to Asheboro North Carolina. Left out Friday delivered the load Monday morning. They did that to get me by my house so I could get the things I needed for my truck. Then got a back haul back to Nashville. Drop that at the receiver and then got my third load at Bridgestone Tires here in Nashville going to Chicago, not due until Thursday but I am going to go ahead and deliver it tomorrow since it's a drop and hook they will take it anytime. I did have most of the day off today because they said my load wasn't going to be ready until 6 p.m. however it was a pretty productive day. I got my truck organized and went out and eat with a few other drivers and had a pretty good time. Some pretty nice people here. Not that I want to go pick out curtains or anything but all in all nice people.

So I was able to take my load on up to Chicago and drop it there at the Bridgestone tire plant. Then I was dispatched on up to Janesville Wisconsin to pick up a load of John Deere Gators heading down to Oklahoma. Not a bad trip 982 miles total. I will say one thing I have found that I'm not real fond of we do not pre-planned trips which is kind of annoying. It's not been too bad so far I'm usually waiting between 30 minutes to 2 hours for my next dispatch. But I am used to being pre-planned for my next load so I guess I am spoiled.
