im working for serafini construction now. the trucks are a mixed vintage, the truck im currently in is a 2004 international eagle with a C12 cat and an 8 speed with deep reduction. the truck might be older and isnt a show queen, but seems to be in good mechanical shape. the tires are decent, the brakes are good, the suspension feels tight, the lights all work, and the a/c works, older but im not complaining.

the boss is fantastic. she's the daugther of the original founder who has long died. everyone really seems to like driving for her, not like my last boss where everyone barely could tolerate the guy. EVERYTHING this lady talks about is safety, safety, safety. she gave me the company handbook where it states that safety of the general public is number one priority of the both the company and the drivers. safety of the general public. i once asked my previous boss if his drivers ever had accidents, he avoided the question. in the handbook it states that drivers are expected to obey the law and speed limits. GOOD. exactly what i am looking for in a company. if she is contacting me by company radio and i tell her im in heavy traffic to call her back when i feel safe to talk

this woman appears to be such a nice boss she actually complemented me, and told me in a text that so far im doing a really good job. WOW. i was dumbfounded, its rare to get a boss that actually says nice things to their people. the job is almost all city driving, working for construction sites around the city of buffalo, so yes its an adjustment. she said she knows there is allot to learn, but i will get it and have a good home for a long time.

so far i cant say enough good my boss, extremely pleasant. HUGE contrast in bosses, and as much negativity as i have heard on here about the construction field as a driving trade; this might be a rare find. she even jokes with the drivers on the company radio, in good taste of course. she has a sense of humor. her name is michelle

i think if you find a good boss, its rare. they are keeper.

ill take a picture of it tomorrow. i really dont have a truck that's an officially assigned truck yet, im driving someone else's truck till they get back from getting married. i also drove another truck, a 2007 sterling with the disliked benz diesel. honestly the truck ran well.

I have mixed feelings. On one hand we could be in for a treat. On the other hand; could she possibly be better than Ms. Tribe Express?

Tribe drivers say she looks better in person than the picture. This is Tribe's safety man & picture is from their website.

As far as attractiveness of trucking company owners, Ms. Tribe Express definitely is the bar all others are compared to. It's not even a creepy "oh man she's hot.", she is a genuinely pretty woman. Agreed @Longarm
