Think you have too much time on your hands. Wonder what Ed think if I did that and left for him. Lol. I am running miles here thanks to not going home and letting other terminals know I not ready to head home. Too cold here outsde Rochester ny. Left Sc yesterday was 75. Must be 50-55 in ny.

Your trainer was so impressed with your work of art that he got your truck washed for you! When I got to the terminal he said "man you got to come look at this. This guy must have really not wanted anyone using his truck!"

    Henley Thanks this.

Got back in last night around 7 p.m. Currently off for today and Monday, Memorial Day. Could have been home yesterday morning but that would have entailed driving through the night Friday. I am fighting a head cold or sinus infection and was already feeling run down so I just called it a night at around 12:30 a.m. Did not want to risk having an accident just to get home a little earlier. Plus I would have just slept all day yesterday anyway.

Dedicated loads got moved around. I was supposed to go out on Tuesday to Richmond VA but will be doing a local run instead. Other than that, not much else to tell.

+1 on the sick crew. Though I'm over it now, I went to the doctor last Saturday after I gave myself a week to get better or die. Whatever I had, amoxicillin (sp?) knocked it right out.

And no, there isn't much to do in the sprawling metropolis of Karns City. Miller's restaurant isn't bad though, and the pizza places that deliver are pretty good too.

What is the company hotel like at Karns City? I have never had the pleasure of staying there more than one night. Its still a lot better than Keasbey and a few others at big 3rd party tank washes.

Its a days inn. Not bad. Has indoor pool, bar and restaurant. Its clean and people were friendly. Only problem was its in Butler. But shopping and everything only a few miles away.

I guess I am better now. The sinus thing has cleared up for the most part. Had a seriously raw nose after all the tissues I went through. I think a few extra trees died because of me!

Did two dedicated runs and a local on Wednesday. Should make for a decent check. Had to stop by High Point on the way back yesterday to pick up some truck parts for our shop. My timing was good because the shop guys had gotten pizza delivered for lunch and offered some up to me. Thanks guys. That was some great pizza. I think it was from some place called Sir Pizza. It was awesome!

Off for the weekend. Dedicated loads got shifted around again due to manufacturing being off. So I am off to Mobile AL on Monday. It is nice to have a change of scenery every now and then. But I do love my dedicated.

    Be safe out there everyone.

Well, I did go to Mobile this past Monday and on the way the old mule blew a couple more injectors. Got the load delivered Tuesday and limped the truck back to Atlanta on 5 cylinders. Took it to Cummins and was fixed in time to work local Thursday and Friday (today). Missed a dedicated load because of it. I was bummed. Was home last night and tonight. Off Saturday then leave out on Sunday for a Texas run. Have not been out that way yet. Should be a good trip for me.
