    Agreed!!! It is sick!

They didn't say how he affords to drive that Cadillac Escalade pickup or whatever it is. It takes a lot more than $200/mo to live even when you don't have a home.

According to the interview, he shacks up with friends and family and leeches off of them too. So I reckon that is how he makes up for the rest of his living expenses. Dude is a freaking bum.

That Escalade was probably a HS graduation gift from his parents. If you never teach a kid the value of hard work this is what you get.

Well, I wish there was new stuff to report but not a whole lot. Did a couple of dedicated runs last week with a day of local. Did local work this past Monday 8/12 then did a system run to Little Rock AR on Tuesday. Delivered that on Wednesday morning and tank washed at Memphis terminal. Did pick up 10 hours layover pay waiting on a load coming into the terminal. It came in around 4pm yesterday afternoon. I grabbed it and took off for Winder GA.

Got there at 12:45 a.m. and was out of there by 2:30 a.m. Drove 3 miles down the road and dropped the trailer at the tank wash and spent the night in my truck because I did not want to drive home at 3 a.m. Got to the house this morning around 9 and am off all day today and Saturday. Then off to Indiana on Sunday for a Monday a.m. delivery.

Be safe out there everyone. I really wish the police would start enforcing the "no texting and driving" laws that are in place.

It's got to be hard for the police to catch somebody texting and driving. Up in a truck, it's easy for us to see people texting behind the wheel, but the officers are down at the same level, so they're not likely to see it happening. Personally, I'd like to see the "Leave More Space" laws enforced. There are signs posted in almost every state now, but I have yet to see anybody pulled over for it.

Well I was just told we are getting another raise effective October 1. Going from .46cpm loaded to .47 and empty miles are going from .38cpm to .40
Also local pay was increased by 3%. Needless to say I am a happy dude :)

Really? Did your terminal not put a letter in your box telling you about it? Just wondered. I am going down to the Morrow terminal tonight so I will check my box but I was told by another driver out of my terminal the letter about the raise is in our boxes.
