Absolutely. So, Duck, what's the most important lesson you learned on this one? (No right or wrong answer--just wondering how you see things)

Second, a little more research would have helped. I looked the place up on google maps and saw how to get in but did not plan an "escape" route just in case.
Third, I have found a phone call goes a long way.
I know you only asked for one but I figured I would throw them all out there. -
Referring to above posts, the first thing I thought was this:

You have more common sense and ability to learn, than a lot of "experienced drivers" I've seen. Would that we could bottle it and sell it.

Nothing exciting to report. Just truck driving. I have managed to not get myself and the truck in any precarious situations lately

That's always a good thing!!

Just wanted to let you all know that I completed the Training phase of my beginnings with Superior. I have been on my own for a week now. Its been good! They've got me local and regional till next Spring, at which time if things have gone well, they'll release me to over the road.
Thank you all for your encouragement and support! RD has been particularly helpful! I asked him if instead of starting my own thread about my experiences with Superior, that I tack on to his. I don't spend nearly the time on the computer so I'll just give snippets here once in awhile.
Twicerubberducky68 Thanks this. -

Good luck. Its not bad company. Only warning I can give you starting out is...get used to the surge. That was hard for me when I can on board in march. I was used to ltl and shifting fast. Most places you go they are happy to see you and treat you good. Be safe and keep out of trouble and all is well. If any questikns or unsure of anything just ask. All but maybe 1 or 2 drivers have been helpful.
Twicebit Thanks this.
