No worries about sticking your nose in here, GF; I'm happy for the contribution and leads. In fact, I just sent an app to Britton. Magnum wanted me to get hazmat and tanker; I'm really not that interested in hauling oil, tar, or any other dangerous good in a sloshing tank.![]()

I just got off the phone with a very nice gentleman at Britton; he and I share a very extensive professional aviation background, so the call was pretty long. Anyway, they are a 100-truck company, 35 years old with good bennies, and they want 2 years OTR to satisfy their insurance carrier. Bummer...for now.

I'm not sure why but I can't see the last page on this thread. I did read your response about Magnum and Britton and a break when I was at work. Something will pop for you seen DD.
Hey now I can see the last page. I don't know why that happened. -
I feel like I did when I was about to graduate from CDL school...sending apps to any company that looks promising. Equipment and route structure are the most important factors for me. Pay is the last thing I look at, though there are some offering 50 cpm. I guess that would be nice as long as there are 2,500 miles or more to go with it.
So far, however, when they talk to me and learn either that I still live in michigan or the details of the suspension, well, the conversations are pretty short. -
I hauled a load for Britton last year -- I was very impressed with them.

DD even though Britton trains students the suspension made them scared? To me your honesty should count for something when you tell them about it.
Road Ready Transfer in Wausau WI check them out and see what they say. -
There might be a change in my condition... 😃
joseph1135 Thanks this. -
