Still with Crete and staying busy. I keep my options open, but nothing worth moving for yet.

My YTD (year to date ) numbers as of the end of July are as follows:

    Total Miles: 83,361
    Revenue : $117,017
    Fixed Expenses: $17,434
    Variable Expenses: $59,107
    Net income Before Taxes: $40,475
    Taxes Due: $8100.00

The high tax estimate is due to no more depreciation on truck. Also I have one more truck payment and it's all mine! Having a truck payment and no depreciation is not a good thing. I had planned to have the truck payed off atleast six months ago, but the bad economy and low miles in '09 along with about a months worth of unplanned timeoff depleted my savings and I've been playing catch up every since. The good thing is that even with this strain I'm still able to pay myself a decent wage and keep up with truck expenses. I expect finances to be better once I make the last payment.

I've actually been in discussion with a spuds broker in ID, I can get a great rate to SOTEX but take it in the shorts getting back out. Just like all the others I've researched. I just live in a bad area for working on a percentage basis.

Well I might be premature on my bid to sell, but if all goes well next week I
I'll be on a new company gig. Hate to let it go but this opportunity is to good to pass up. Especially for where I live.

I don't blame you. Will you be going local and home more with the new gig??? That would be great for you

Will still be OTR but will get home more often. It's a private carrier that pays above industry standards.

My truck still has plenty of miles left in it, so if this opportunity doesn't pan out I'll soldier on as an O/O.
