I get home when want min of 3 weeks out. Had a stressful week last week asked If my fm could get me thru Springfield for hometime in the next week or so was back in 2 days. So gettin home when I want hasn't been an issue. Going home puts a hurt on the pocket so like ip said make sure your bank account is prepared for it.

JB, I like that you are willing to work with vets. Im a Marine Corps Vet heading to training on Jan 27th. I have been perusing the forums for all the info I can find on training and Prime. Your information is great, thank you.

Does Prime require you to be out 3 weeks before home time?

    JB,

I've been reading through your Prime experience log for the last few days. Your posts have been EXTREMELY helpful and have helped point me in the direction of Prime. I almost contacted a recruiter directly yesterday, but thought it would be a good idea to use you as a referral, since you've helped steer me in their direction.

What is the best process to follow to make sure you get the referral bonus? Do I just need to give them your name? Can you please PM with the info I will need? I tried to PM you, but it says I can't send PM's yet. :/

I'll be starting school (at Prime) in either April or May, so it won't be filling your pockets anytime soon. But I need to speak with a recruiter to get some info about their hiring areas. 98% sure I'm going with Prime, so I'm not wasting your time or anything. My info is below, just in case you need it to get the referral.

Thanks again for all of the time you have taken to help us newbies. I'm looking forward to the new lifestyle and getting out of this boring cubicle.

    Filling my pockets? Heh. :p

If you insist on using my name as a referral, I'll message you later.

Haha. Much appreciated. You might as well go ahead and lease a newer truck. Going to be dozens of dollars coming in fall. Dozens!

Jimmy - I am so thankful to you for posting this thread. My husband is leaving for orientation on 24 Feb and the unknowns have us both so nervous. One of the things I am most nervous about it issues with pay? I have heard horror stories about truckers pay constantly being messed up. Have you found the pay to be reliable?

What if you already have a CPAP machine? My husband is a bigger guy and has a CPAP that he has had since he was in the Army.
