Hey bubbleguts - hope things are good - I haven't seen post anything recently and was wondering if you were still driving with Prime? If so can you update on your experience? Thank you.

Nice thread , thanks to all of the positive posts here and to the negatives.
Looking at several companies Mamto get back in the biz with . Clock time of aprox. Eta of 6 mos. Mainly due to expenses and daughter starting community college this year . Need to make sure her atm (aka as daddy ) has funds while swiping card .
One note on my search has been to transition to a o/o , l/p only after doing a hard research for the $$$ pros and cons. As i am well aware of the headaches that follow the i/c world . Way back when , family of truckers also construction contracting for many years .
My 3 so far .....sni.....act......prime .
Prime does have the training that has my intrests up some .
SNI and the choice program seems to have more freedom as to where you want to run .
ACT seems to be a very good l/p program too.
I do not like job hopping . And to that note weather company or O/O , L/P , loyalty is the way i was raised . Has always been away of life and lifestyle to me . One of the reasons for researching for months are due to this fact . Also looking for the retirement company from the start not in the middle or towards the end lol .
Looking for the good , bad , and fugly without holdig back please . JB or IP and anyone else for that matter could or would you take afew from your busy daily schedule to pm me with some g.b. and f info please . And thanks in advaceLast edited by a moderator: Jul 19, 2014

I'll post it here, if you don't mind.
Good: Good equipment, honest company, very professional, good earning potential, particularly if you train. Can go pretty much anywhere. Walk away lease. They provide all the tools and info you need to succeed, and to help minimize costs.
Bad: All the junk you have to buy up front is annoying. Weekly payments, not terribly expensive, but not cheap either. Paid percentage, which is good, but makes it difficult to predict weekly income based on miles.
Fugly: IP.hal380 and Time4Change Thank this. -
JB I do have one question with the LW trucks. ( I know I know too many of those lol) I am 6'9" tall and I wonder If its doable to be in a LW or if I need to see if I can get a full regular truck. Thank you In advance and sorry for another LW question.
