Not amazing. It's a disturbing reflection of the changing values of the nation.

My wife and I are considering driving as a team with Prime, as they seem to be a respectable company to start with. I have had my CDL for 15 years, but no driving in the past 11 years. My wife does not hold a CDL yet and would like to obtain one through a good respectable training program. Could I get some input on what might be our best path to take and the process we will need to go through to become a team with Prime?

I appreciate any info I can get.

    Thanks

They'll want to put you through the student course as a refresher, followed by TnT. This isn't a reflection on your experience, but an insurance requirement these days. After that you'll get your own truck.

The usual sequence is for the CDL holder to get onto his own truck, and 90 days later (no accidents, ticket, 100% on-time) you can become a trainer. Either you put in enough time to become an instructor or if your wife feels comfortable going out with another CDL instructor, she earns her CDL, and then you do the TnT training portion. After that, she upgrades, and you can run teams.

I appreciate the info ironpony. We are in the process of sorting out all of the particulars prior to making a commitment. From what I have been reading about Prime, they sound like a great starter company.
