I am leaving Saturday on a Greyound to go to prime. I am looking at 3 days on a bus to get there. This ought to be fun, I sure hope it is worth it.

It will be, if you're FOCUSED on getting your CDL. 13 months or so from now when you've found the job you're looking for, im sure you'll see that "it was worth it"

    Good luck to ya.

Where are you coming from that it takes three days anyway?

That's new. I've always heard please remember I'm Missouri Educated but never an expert...lol

Anyways, I scratched Prime off my list because they wanted more red tape done than it was worth before they'd even hire me. Do you lease or are you company?

If I owned and operated one of the largest trucking companies in the country, I'd probably run some red tape as well.

Not that sorta red take. Would you care to know what a driver has been doing during unemployment periods?

That's any company now. Hell the military wanted to know what I did for two months after high school.

ThatFlatBedGuy...really enjoy your humor. ..on a different note,
as a wannabe, I can testify that the three companies I've talked
to are specific about employment gaps. If unemployed,
they want to know what I did during that time.

Don't forget to read the lease thread, especially about having enough money in the bank to finance your own business. It ain't a company job on steroids!
