Okay, that makes better sense...that adds correctly. Seems it may even out financially...but the difference is if you want a cab-mate...and sleep while the truck is runnin'

A fella who went by U2_exit on TTR teamed at Prime on the company side. His experience was that the company team trucks made more off of the split, than guys in the solo trucks - and I believe that was after the cpm bump and lightweight truck cpm bonus were in place. That's assuming you can coexist with someone else in the truck on an extended basis.hal380 Thanks this.

There is also the truck 10cpm bonus for all miles above 3500 in a week.

Officially got my employment today. Met my dispatcher and was assigned my trainer, who will pick me up Sunday.
Met a ton of the staff, walked around the terminal. Everything about this outfit is just high class. Some policies annoy me a bit, but it's all personal preference stuff. It's a smidge more complicated than Werner was, but the training is a ton better.kiwi23, Rocket1949, Deanna886 and 2 others Thank this. -
JimmyBones...I have a big smile...happy for ya...gives me hope. Makes me all the more excited to get rolling. Thanks again for the posts. Included your name in the app today. P.S. I was in Baxley for a week one summer...I won't tell you how long ago...it was another life and another story...My parents retired in Blue Ridge GA...way north.
Elizabeth.C and hal380 Thank this. -
You going to prime also? If so keep us posted

I've narrowed my choices to Prime (their size, schooling, pay for nobodies). But I haven't ruled out a Community College and one other company...Millis. Millis, because they are in North Georgia and I have lots of family in North Georgia. Moving from CA this summer.
hal380 and superpet39 Thank this. -
Hometime wouldn't be a problem for you in north Georgia. We have lots of freight into and out of Atlanta, plus other shippers in the I75 corredor north of there. Most of us post in the Prime forum, plenty of good information in there.

Elizabeth.C and Kutina Thank this.

ironpony...thanks for that No GA info. I assumed that was the case (lotsa work in North Georgia), but I learned long ago not to assume anything. Good to hear. Atlanta or Chattanooga would be ideal.
