Thanks, JimmyBones! I don't have too much to worry about, really. Everything is up to par on my end. Thanks for the information! I will be contacting a recruiter, ASAP!

Thanks for the clarity. I don't mean to sound too stupid :p That would be pretty sweet though! I'm assuming that I would get paired up with a random instructor? Could I ask for a specific one, or would that possibly hinder when I would be able to attend Prime's apprenticeship program? Probably too technical of questions. Ha ha.

Instructors make the decision on who they take, given a pool of candidates. How you present yourself goes a long way.

I appreciate the info. First, I want to say that SPRIMO looks awesome now that it is decorated for the holidays. I was lucky enough to drive by it this morning on the way to Springfield Underground. I don't know any other trucking company that even comes close.

65mpg on a lease truck is somewhat of a deal breaker for me though, so I will have to continue my search elsewhere. I did my time in a 62mph company truck and I won't go back. I consider myself an extremely cautious driver, and I often do less than 65, but when I want to go 70, it's nice that I can.

I really appreciate the quick response. Good luck to everyone who drives for Prime. Thanks again.

That is good to know, thanks! From my research and what I've read on forums, Prime definitely focuses on the professional aspect of trucking, which is commendable. Right there, tells me what kind of a company Prime is, along side with it's values. How would I be able to get you as an instructor? Ha ha :p

I'm quite likely to be coming onboard with Prime after the first of the year as a new CDL holder with tanker, and double/triples endorsements but no experience. I eventually want to run northeast regional as tanker. Understand that most of my training miles will be with reefer and anywhere east of Missippi. Sound accurate? Am a bit nervous about teaming with a total stranger, will be a bit uncomfortable for a bit!

You may start with a reefer trainer, but that is only based on availability. Getting some OTR experience, no matter the division, is never a bad thing.
