If my driver manager sends me a message right now if I want to read it I have to stop the truck. The little box on the dash will move the pointer around on this old school Qualcomm box. I can not press the buttons on the dash and hear the message read in the stupid robot voice. Any suggestions

I believe in your situation, the Qualcomm is wired to the Speed Sensor so when it detects that the Truck is in motion all functions are disabled until the Truck is stopped.

Since your Company set it up that way, I wouldn't tamper with it, as tampering with Company Equipment can lead to Termination.

Are you talking about pressing the buttons on the little "remote commander" doesn't press anything on the main panel? Did it work before?

My speaker took a dump a while back now I rarely hear anything out of it other then maybe a few words here and there. She was mostly an illiterate dumb woman anyway, and frankly I could hardly stand to listen to her as she slurred her words all the time. She likes her gin.

Yeah when I push the buttons on the remote Commander it will move the big box screen around but it does not read anything to me. It may be the speaker

Have you checked to make sure the volume is turned up? Does it talk to when you're stopped and access the Hours Of Service menu (tells you your available drive hours)?

When I'm headed up 6 & 11 toward the P&G in Tunkhannock, PA and i have to hear 'Continue x, y, z onto Lackawanna Trail' about 30 times... I really consider giving it a good backhand... but I gag the broad.
It's something about the pronunciation and the false enthusiasm that drives me right up the wall. Lol. I can't take it.

I turn my GPS voice prompts off altogether. It's easy to see and I just work on visible ques rather then annoying voice prompts.

I much prefer a nice deep female voice with a liverpool accent; like Kelly LeBrock,"what would you little maniacs like to do now."

You ever listen to 'The Naked Scientist' podcast?
Seems like that'd be about an hour point five of jollies for you, bloke. Learn something and have your Brit accent fetish fixed up right. (I've kinda got a fet for it too, lol)....
