Luckily I had a fresh 70 an only drove from Texas Dallas to Louisiana. But as I was driving the qualcomm screen just went black. Would come on, then go black again. It's actually still doing it as I'm making this thread. I called qualcomm customer service but the automated system said they are closed on weekends and hung up on me even after pressing 0.
Once I got to Lafayette I noticed that my clock reset again and my qualcomm is on a 60 hours 7 day instead of 70 hours 8 day schedule. Not to mention it shows my mileage today as 98 instead of the 300+ miles I actually drove.
Help
My qualcomm started tripping and lost all my logs

You can (should) switch to paper logs until the QC is functioning properly. The regulations allow you to switch to paper logs for up to eight days if your electronic logging device malfunctions. Just log what you actually did and continue on paper in the short term. You are required to keep a paper log book in your truck just in case this occurs.
Steel Dragon, Lepton1, blairandgretchen and 2 others Thank this. -
If you drive for a company have them fax you your last 7 days as well.
Steel Dragon, blairandgretchen and DAX_ Thank this. -
QC problems happen every once in a while. Just run paper and you will be fine. Call night dispatch, they may be able to send a mobile reset and that might fix the problem. Probably won't though, sounds like a trip to the shop is in your future.
Steel Dragon and blairandgretchen Thank this. -
Find the black box and unplug it for 15 to 20 minutes then plug it back in.
Lepton1, Tico79 and Steel Dragon Thank this. -
Run paper until it gets fixed and you are legal. Right?
Steel Dragon, Lepton1 and 06driver Thank this. -

If you have a battery cut off switch, use it.
Cut the power for 10 minutes, then turn it back on. The computer will then boot clean.
I have QC problems with my current truck as well, and forcing a cold boot can help things.Woodys, Dan.S, Steel Dragon and 1 other person Thank this. -
Correct. Even if you are on an ELD you must have blank paper logs available in the truck to show a DOT officer on request, this is to show you are ready and able to switch to paper logs in the event your ELD has a catatonic seizure.IluvCATS, Dan.S and Steel Dragon Thank this.
