Good luck Green. Keep us posted. Even if for whatever reason it doesn't work out, drop us a quick note letting us know before you disappear...lol

Received a "student confirmation letter," from Cel the other day via email. They have asked me if I want a bus/plane ticket to them, in Indy. I never even told them I would go with them, lol. They say I am starting class 06/02/14. They say I would be contracted with them, for the first 240,000 miles.

I am real glad I have been talking to a few experienced guys about doing this first, and picking their brains about who to get training with. Kinda makes one wonder about Cel.

I will...... I am sure I will do just fine. *Fingers Crossed* Already got the DOT Medical, know how to back, shift decently and know the pre-trip. Just studying HAZTRAP and Plankers Endorsements and the practice test to get my permit a 2nd time since the last one expired Dec 30th 2013.

I will thank SWIFT for that much! Sure wish I didn't rub the curb with them during road eval. Never made it to the DMV. #### happens though? Never touched the curb with the trailer tandems, front left by only mere inches. What can ya expect, was a fast paced course. Did swell till the road evaluation there. I wouldn't recommend it though. Dude that rode with me made me twitchy/nervous. Was like a back seat driver my entire time there. Alright guy, but not my choice for a trainer. The one time with the class room instructor how ever, dude asked if I had driven a semi before and I said, nah man! You are just sitting there enjoying the ride and just telling me where to go. He let me drive and told me minor key points I needed to work on. Couldn't have gone any better with that guy. He pulls trucks out of ditches, so I will take his word for my good driving then. ^_^

I will keep posting because I don't quit. I am expecting to learn other tricks and new things with Celadons training course and have a job, finally! Hopefully, will meet some other cool people there as well. I'm not a big fan of this teaming though, but I am piss poor and a young mans gotta do what he has to do. Will run hard for them miles best believe it. I want my own truck!

Will have my android tablet with me so will post on how things are at this new facility and what its like. I will share the pros and cons exactly how they are. If all is said and done then it may be harder to post with the 4-6 weeks with a trainer. So, if I do vanish for that time I will reply when I get the chance there of right after. Training is Four weeks I hear? Will be the first class in with no one ahead of us so hopefully it turns out good if classes are no larger then 20people. Guess we'll see come Monday! :p

Green, I was told by the person on the Celadon recruiting line I had to prove 18 months' employment. I have contacted them four more times via FB, email and two calls to HR. No one has had the courtesy to respond.

Good luck Green. I look forward to hearing about your experience. Still wonder what happened to Dumbolnd. Maybe she is out with a trainer and doesn't have the time to post. Oh well.

Well, if you are unemployed then get someone to write two letters and go with them to the bank, sign, and get them notarized from someone there. Takes like two minutes. Explain you're seeking employment in the letters, why you've been out of work and for how long. That should be fine? I got two prior to going to swift. Ask someone if that is okay to do?

Green, I am perfectly willing to do that except nobody from Celadon will call or email me back.

Hardly any employer will call you back. Got to show them you're interested for them to consider. Call them!

Well, I thought I made it clear I had called them several times and keep getting voicemail.
