Yea but you have to think of it like this sunkis. If you go to one of them companies then you are on the road yes your making money but what I am understanding you trainer wont teach you nothing till it is time to test.At less here you have time to learn. If you cant get on the range stand out there and try getting time in the truck. If you need road time go to the office and try asking for some road time.
-

Many here post how they feel and how they take some situations. Then along come the #####ers and complain about what the other person posted. Here is how it is folks. It matters not how it is posted or why. It is how some feel about the school, company or treatment or equipment. They post what some one said. To put this in another perspective, they are giving their opinion of the situation and how they see it.. That being said remember that 99% on here are new to the industry and every thing is part of the learning process. So telling them to find another job because or start he bad mouthing because one of them doesn't like it is just not going to teach them. Of course you can't fix some people that find no good in anyone or thing and that is life. To you new to the trucking industry and this strange world of trucking.
If you have questions your not sure you should ask on the forum.
Please PM me with your questions about the industry. I know very little about each company but something about the industry. I will do my best to be honest and straight forward with you. I will not cut you down nor ridicule you .I remember my first days and do know that we have people wanting to get behind the wheel from all walks of life and backgrounds and education..AquariusDoll and PikesPeak Thank this. -
It would be intereting to know peoples education level, and background here, for sure.

I start my Quality Driver training with Celadon in September. I see a lot of mixed reviews here, but frankly, it seems to me that this experience is what we will each make of it. If we come in self-entitled, looking for what the company can do for us when we haven't proven we know how to do anything other than pick up a phone to ask someone to train us, then we're going to be disappointed.
For my part, I am going in with the presumption that I am there to learn and they are there to teach. They are giving me free room and board while I learn a new skill set, and they are using their resources to teach me that skill set. I'm not even close to about to look the gift horse in the mouth. Just gonna put my head down, do what's asked of me to the best of my ability and figure that if I do MY best, the company will see that and offer me greater opportunities to do better.
Even if it's hell on earth for a few months, it won't take long before I am running solo down the interstate banking my pay and securing my future. No one owes us anything -- and while they train us because it's good for them to do so, the fact is, I don't really care, because it's good for me to LEARN.
I look forward to the classes to come -- and to the experiences ahead. Good thread!dumbolnd Thanks this.
