My Questions About the New Clearinghouse Database

I can see the database being there to weed out the dope addicts and drunks, but I never do any of it, so I won't sign up for the database and participate in that database. Only those who have flunked tests or refused tests should have to input any information into it.

 

Yes, a company that's gone out of business may not be able to dig your information out it has possibly put in there on you when you decide to leave the industry for good. If I leave trucking and get rid of my CDL, I don't want my information in this database.

 

If you go into one of those places that sells those products, including the cbd that is not supposed to have thc in it they scan your ID. so they have a electronic trail of whoever purchased those products.

A motor carrier cannot hire anyone who is not in the database.

Maybe you can work for Junkyard Johnny off Craig's list but this will close off a lot of options unless you sign up.

 

Then those options are going to get closed up for me and for a lot of guys who think like me. The ones of us who refuse to roll over and take it.

 

Well, if they make it to where no US citizen will take the job, then that opens up the avenue to where companies can import H1B visa drivers from third world countries.

At the very least, no social security number or any information that could be used to steal financial information, should be used in the drug database.
