Let's face it. It's not for everyone, and that's okay. If your not happy, your still young enough to do something else. But you have some life experience and you'll always remember trucking, instead of always wondering about trucking.
My respect for all you OTR drivers ,

Before you go to some other job for training, put out apps like there is no tomorrow to all the local companies in your area. Even if they say they want 1 year or 2 years experience. If you're planning on giving it up it isn't going to hurt you to do that. Knock on their doors, talk to them in the office. You've nothing to lose if you might be leaving already. Might as well go out swinging.

Truck driving isn't for everyone and there's nothing at all wrong with that, you tried it for 3 months.I'd like to say it'll get better with time and exp but unfortunately it won't.You do however have some exp where some local companies will hire you.G13Tomcat and Jbeltran805 Thank this.

Where are you located?
Local jobs take some digging but they're out there. Even with no experience.
If you want a "normal" job like you're probably used to working look into driving a concrete truck. You'll have more of a work atmosphere and co-workers you actually see on a daily basis.Jbeltran805 Thanks this. -
