I bet yall slammed with tons of work, this week there were asking for volunteers to run linehaul as well but decided to spend time with the family.

Still hiring. I can't believe it.

Been talking to a guy for almost a year about getting the necessary experience to get hired by us. He recently reached the mark, had his interview, got a job offer...and his wife didn't want him to take the job. Like...okay. Sounds good. Lol

I think the relative ease of getting on in with us the Chicago area has led to drivers valuing the job a little less. This is a job guys wait years to get in most areas.

But they all get sorted. You may get the job, but you won't keep it.

Busier than hell. Closed this pay period up with 63 hours. Will likely be another heavy week as well. I wouldn’t say I have a set area, but I tend to stay in my state or go to the furthest most area we cover which is two states away. I like the days where I stay in state because I’m more familiar with where everything is. But when I see I’m young that far away out of state for the day I get excited for nice long drives. Downside is those tend to be days with 15 stops on a lift gate pup with residential stops. W/e, I’m hourly.

I did tell the boss I’d take the linehaul gig. He mentioned that I’ll stay on city for the next two weeks though because of how busy we are.

Not that it’s right, but there could have been many reasons for that to happen. Oh well.
