How does hostling compare to doing it at FxF? Is it busier or more quiet? They have no problems letting you jump in? I eventually figured out my hub had dockworker bids, including hostling, so they didn’t allow drivers to come in and bump them.

I prefer the setup at FXF more. FXF horses as you know have the computer to receive and complete moves, Saia does not have such technology. The dock sups just text me instructions. This is where a cellular enabled smart watch is handy; no jeopardizing the phone by pulling it out of your pocket all night.

They have a couple dock guys that run the horse, but I think they’d rather keep them on the dock breaking Freight, so the sups didn’t seem to give it any extra thought as far as me going into the horse.

When I started going to this hub I just asked, told them I’d rather make money than sit in my truck all night and that I’m a Savage in the yard. Since then, the horse has been waiting for me when I arrive. They’ll hammer me with 10-20 moves right off the bat and once I power through that I spend my down time in between further moves cleaning up the yard, organizing the mess that drivers make when they drop their trailers the way I’d imagine Helen Keller would, build/break sets for drivers etc.

Never seen that before. I’d give it a shot though I generally do enjoy Cope long cut or long cut Wintergreen.

Just sucks that I have to go to Rhode Island to get it due to a flavor ban here in Massghanistan.

Never got into Red Man chew. Tried a bag of it and it didn’t click. Levi Garrett chew is crack to me though.

I remember us somehow buying mail pouch chew as a youngster in PA.. that stuff was awful! The painted ads on the gable ends of old barns in the country was pretty cool though.
