Here's some vintage trucking for everyone. Werner Enterprises circa 1990s.

This is 1990s era Werner Enterprises for sure. This would be mid to late 1990s probably 1997ish if I had to guess. I liked it better in 1997.

linehaul pay for the job done, regardless how much bs you deal with which may end up workers do alot of work for free and disgruntled? or payed all work you do but drivers can milk the clock?

Well, looks like I’m taking the gasoline/propane job. I hemmed and hawed over it for a bit. I like many facets about Saia, but the micromanagement irks the bejesus out of me, the mirrorless trucks scare the hell out of me, I’ll have a 6 mile commute again as opposed to 37, days and a m-f schedule with the ability to use Bluetooth and a cb.

With the amount of unpaid time I give here at Saia going to an hourly structure will be a raise mathematically.

Yesterday, I didnt get any sleep. I tried but just basically layed there tossing and turning. I didnt feel safe out there so I called the powers that be to let them know. Find out today that I have been given an attendance point. So much for trying to do the right thing.
