Her name was already roza, or rozie. Shes an older dog but she is very sweet and needed a home or she was gonna be put down soon, and my heart is way too big when it comes to animals. I've wanted a co-pilot for awhile just wasn't sure i wanted to try again, i had adopted a dog that had been abused bad to try and work with her, my sister works at the SPCA, well she was very sweet to me, but anyone else she would go to attack, the company i was with at the time wanted to do a "temperament test" so needless to say she had to find another home. Its nice having a dog though, not much fun to walk around a truck stop or rest area by yourself, but have a dog and they make it fun!
Wild Murphy Thanks this. -

On a full week working fairly hard i can clear over 2200. Thats staying out of the northeast, if i stayed up there and worked very hard im sure i could be clearing 2800-3000 no problem, theres guys that make that much, but im happy with what i make, and im home alot more, its been working very well for me and my situation
ghostdog, Clive B and freightwipper Thank this. -
T_Trucker, great thread!!!....I'm wondering, when you say you "clear $2,200" is that before or after taxes???
ghostdog and T_TRUCKER. Thank this. -
Thank you man, that is BEFORE i take taxes out, thats my net bring home, i kind of wing it on taxes, for example last week i netted around 2500, i put 1500 in my business savings account for stuff like taxes and maintenance. I always leave my checking account with less than half my paycheck.

Everybody's tax situation is different, can't use that as a measuring tool.
What I follow and care about is what's left over after fuel and fixed costs.
Every full week I'm out my goal is $2500 which has been somewhat easy to meet. However I do mainly short loads.
