She is a long haul trucker now and I am concerned about her safety.
I am not worried about her driving skills but her safety at the Truck Stops.
Are there issues there for female drivers or is it me being paranoid?

She has to keep her head on a swivel. But I would bet she already knows that. She should be careful where she has to drop if it's late at night but again I'll bet she already knows that. Anything can happen to anyone. I don't think a busy truck stop would be a problem but she just needs to keep her guard up. You've got to trust her, she already put alot of effort into what she is doing and she'll protect that.

Good post GH. She may also want to make any extended stops she has to during the daylight hours, because some places are too scandalous for male drivers, let alone female drivers (Gary IN comes to mind). That way, when she is ready to turn in for the night, she can pull to the fuel island for a quick bathroom break and then park and not have to worry about walking through the TS at night (which incidentally is dangerous for anyone with some of the drivers out here now).
That being said she probably already knows most of this (as GH said)...
Good luck and introduce her to this website, the more the merrier!

She loves it and I am sure she knows what she is doing.
    Thanks again.
