5 years same job ? better hold on to that one
-
Well, I have to wait until I hit 5 years until I can drive for the company. My boss wants me to try and work on getting my permit, then see if I can do the companies training. Not sure if this would still be the best option, as right now, I barely bring home 325 a week, working six days, plus the added bs. Not to mention wanting to get my own place. Opinions?

Stay where you are. The cameras are really no big deal and they are there to watch the other guy not you. That's the way it's with us anyway. It's very hard to prove that you were not at fault when you rear-end someone when truth be told it was a scam to sue the company. Or someone rolled back into you.
You also will want to stay there because you will be hauling the company's own product. That's a huge plus in the way the industry is today.outerspacehillbilly Thanks this. -
I agree with everyone that you should stay there, let them train you and the pay will get much better.
MUCH better than trying to start new with any other trucking company... -
I'm with everyone else, stay there, the grass isn't always greener but if something better comes along later in life, you will be in a better position to get it.Good luck.
