    When your doc said that you are at 50% instead of the 73% that he want's. As far as the D.O.T. goes i believe compliance is 60% or around 4 1/2 hrs a night or so. Your doc want's 73% is his standard, my doc wanted 80% and i had the same problem as you until he was informed that D.O.T. is what i had to comply by. I have had no problems with compliance and now i'm at 80%plus, next is to loose weight and get rid of the cpap. as that is what caused my sleep apnea.

    What specific make and model of CPAP are you using?

    There is free compliance data software you can download to check your own compliance data.

    Also on most CPAP there is a screen where you can check your compliance data.

    There is a patient support group for truck drivers with sleep apnea.

    If you had reached out to any of use through the site we have other volunteer drivers that answer phone calls and e-mails we could have told you that months ago.

    ####... I hate to see someone go through what you have when there really was no reason.
