Just got to look at my new truck and was surprised! Instead of an older Century like some other new drivers were assigned, I got a 2012 Cascadia with only 229000 miles, real clean inside and outside, with only one little ding in the driverside fender just behind the headlight, almost didn't see it.

Yes, the skip shifting was confusing for me to start with, after getting 5300 miles with my TE, I finally got it. But even my TE said he didn't like it, he has 29 yrs and he didn't do it! He likes to just go easy through all the gears real smooth, hardly ever felt the surge.

Well I had a great weekend after having finished the SQT's on Wed. was assigned a Cascadia on Fri., sat on my only pair of glasses Sat. morning and crushed them! I had to get an eye exam and make new glasses in 1 day($500 for rush service on progressive/transition bi focals) got to go for another long Bike ride, will be getting my truck sometime tomorrow so I can get all the hoses/fittings and supplies loaded. Then load all my stuff so I'll be ready to roll on my first solo run Tuesday. And away we go!

So I've been putting my things in the truck, I'm glad the previous driver was pretty clean and didn't destroy anything inside the truck, will get all the hoses and fitting etc. in the AM and be ready to roll!
