My Start with the Big Orange

Sitting at the West Memphis OC headed to Catlettsburg, KY in the morning. Last 2weeks mileage sucked! Sat for 3days in Green Bay, this first load for this week is only 1050miles, hoping I don't sit any this week.

 

Yes, I left out of West Memphis OC about 0630 heading to KY. It was supposed to be a drop loaded at customer but turned into a LUL at Marathom refining in Catlettsburg, had to tread a needle to get into this place! Very tight, took the empty to Cincinnatti, and here I SIT!

 

Was off on home time and PM on the truck, come back Monday, 1 load to Cincinnati, layover, 1 trailer move, layover, pickup a relay to Maryland, layover! NOT HAPPY!

 

Well it's been a little while since last update, getting close to my 1yr date(Sept 2) and it looks like I will break $50K, this is just training pay and regular earnings, not bonuses or school reembursment. It's been a very good experience learning how to be a trucker! Only real problem was 1 very minor preventable in a Love's parking lot and 1 ticket(non moving violation). Could have been worse! Taking 4 days off, then couple more weeks to finish this 1st year and see what year 2 has for me! be safe out there!

 

Well I'm still here, a year and 2weeks, doing ok, miles still lower than I would like. Sitting at the Flying J, Abilene, Tx. Delivering in Midland in the morning.
