PCS does the loading in Aurora. They are fast, except for the 80% food grade. The CofA sample isn't allowed to be taken until the tank is full. That adds an hour, which is paid.

Delivery is hit or miss. I'll be airing off the Monday load in NY, but the pre load I set up yesterday is customer unload in GA. If you got to get in a pickle suit, it might as well be Nov in NY.

Heading to Waverly. PCS in Aurora was slow as heck. Spent nearly 5 hours getting loaded and out the gate. 3 hours of extra pay for the wait, bit would have rather been rolling. Made it to the west side of the 104 in VA. I like Dennys better than the east side restaurant.

Doing just the 10 so I can sneak thru DC before the morning Traffic jam.

Great. Made it back to Wilmington after running a load of acid up to NY. Waiting on a blended Castor oil to run over to Greensboro. That'll be my first non hazmat load.

Pay is decent for just out and backs. Getting into the system will reap better pay. First holiday pay is next Thursday, while I take a 4 day weekend. Been off every weekend recently.

Turns out I'm hauling HAZMAT and not castor oil. Oh well, it's what they pay me to do.

Sounds like @19d is going to big blue as well. I'm still up in the air (of course)
    Glad it's working out

Agreed. I was huffin' and puffin' in my acid suit a few weeks ago while it was 90° here in Texas. I hope it's easier to handle in cooler temps.

Much easier when it's cool out. I'm going to go ahead and buy the Gortex suit so it fits better and has venting. Summer is just 8 months away.

For the military, just think of rubber MOPP gear without the pro mask.

It sounded like he had a good setup with Schneider. Good miles, decent pay, and they didn't mind him taking time off. Wonder if any of that changed?

Don’t believe the hype stick to the out and backs as long as possible. Pay in system is based on your inbound terminal I actually make more doing that then in the system and get more rest and hometime.
