Well, I'm back at 'home'. The fun had to end some time. Nothing but good things to say about my experience at Swift Academy. The instructors, fellow students, all the folks making sure the correct i's were dotted and t's were crossed and the facilities and program itself. I could be critical of a few things, but that would just be my opinion verse folks who have done this for years. I think I'll defer to their experience and wisdom and earnestly have no complaints.
Right now, I'm doing laundry and sorting through what I need to take with a mentor and what I can survive without.
I jave been assigned to a terminal in Jurupa Valley CA. It is near Riverside and it is a refridgerated freight terminal. Phoenix is dry van and flat bed. I have been in contact with my "Driver Qualification Manager" and she is working on finding me a mentor. It couod happen in a couple of hours or take a couple of weeks or anything inbetween. She is aware of the 'thing' that requires sone accommodation regarding selection of a mentor.
So, it's just another day in Paradise. You all be safe out there!!!!

KUDOS, AND CONGRATS, man.... for sure. You are on the right path. We kindof 'all' have a thing, so quit getting hung up on that. I have no voice..that's my thing. Probably why I won't ever be a trainer, but.. my company won't ask me to, even though we hire experienced (more/less) people. Stay safe, stay blessed, and enjoy the weekend. Less is more, imho when packing.. but then again, essentials are necessary. I'm happy for ya, man...for sure.
