I'm starting this thread to give my opinion On central and my journey through training in fontana and the company. so far im in my second week of training and i must say its a fast paced course but definately a good course. You have to have your stuff together but its well worth the time and money to go through it. The trainers are very patient and make you feel realy comfortable. So that is my two cents so far
My take on Central Refrigerated and the training.

Can i ask you a few questions?
I called C.R yesterday and need to call them back when i have a chance. I will go to the Fontana one as well.
How many tests did they give you?
How much does it cost? I thought this company was like C.R Englad where they train you and it's a contract type deal.
So after you train and hit the road with your trainer you will be getting paid?
Any more info or tips will be Greatly appreciated!

Its a 3000 dollar contract that you agree to payback but you are not forced tostay you will just have to pay back the money. My trainer right now is not a good one so im getting off his truck in SLC. He doesnt know it yet so it should be interesting. And you take 4 written tests and study hard for them and then a skills test air brake test and road test. I did mine in fontana and it was pretty easy just a stressful week of wondering if you will pass the tests

See if you can get Justin Smith out of Fontana. He was my trainer and he was O.K. in my book.
