So 99% of the time, drivers get away with not leaving enough following distance. But 1% of the time, the unexpected can happen like in the video. Since Swift has so many trucks, 1% is unacceptable to them.
The idea that someone might have to drive in this manner because they have a governed truck is crazy, especially if they're being paid by the mile. Getting to your appointment like 5 minutes earlier doesn't increase the distance you drove.

Despite your best efforts to hide the fact, it’s clear you have precious little truck driving experience. There is nothing wrong with that and no need to get all cute and cryptic and make yourself out to be something you’re not. This group can small a fraud a mile away.Gearjammin' Penguin Thanks this. -

So you call me a fraud. Is that your way of trying to intimidate me, or put me on the defensive? So I got my CDL last March...that's correct. But like I told you before, you know nothing about me but your hell bent on making those same assumptions, which will lead to the same mistakes.
In my previous post I said I was out. I hadn't figured on you being a keyboard tough guy and escalate this by name calling. -
Never called you a fraud. I said don’t be one.
