My TND 510 broke

I got this gps 2 weeks ago and today it stopped working. It won't power on at all. I called the FJ near me and they won't take it because it's been over 7 days since I bought it. Did I lose $299 or will Rand send me a new one? Sure hope so. This has been the best gps yet.

 

It was the Flying J in Headingley, MB. I told the guy what happened and that I got the gps on the 9th. He said the return policy was only good for 7 days. I'm home now and this place is only 30 min form the house. I wanted to exchange it before I hit the road again. I will also try what you said. Thank you.

 

By it's self it won't and the same on DC. I will give AC a shot and see what happens.

 

I did what you said and now it works. So the question is why did it do that to begin with?

 

I plugged it into ac and it worked, then dc and it works. Now I'll leave it in the car for a few hours and see what happens. I'm just glad it's working again. Thanks for the help.
