They do offer tours still, but they only take you to the turbines. Not down the bottom like they used to. That is the tour I got 3 years ago. From family that has been on tours in the past, they say it is pretty cool at the bottom. Really wish I could have been in a full tour of yesteryear.

I tried to take a uhaul trailer across and they told me the only way was to completely unload and reload or go around. we went around. officers said then it was 9/11 why we had to do it. don't want you to blow the dam. I guess that would be ugly

yeppers no more trailers and for a while it was no buses or RVS also..... but when the new road is done its gonna be trucks again !

I went there in 2005. I thoroughly enjoyed that place.
Did you take the guided tour inside? It was interesting. -
