My truck got booted and towed

Yep that’s a Walmart in a better part of Charlotte..... they’ll enforce the law in that part of Charlotte

 

Wait, a week away from being a trainer?

Well that changes everything. I thought you were a brand new driver. Should of known better. Kinda reminds me of this.

 

Drivers would be smart to no longer consider Walmart's as a safe place to park. Seems like every new one that is built these days prohibits overnight truck parking. Most cities require it if they want to build it there. They've even made the parking lot entrances too narrow to get a truck in there, so it's impossible to park there temporarily to go shopping.

Last week in Washington I needed someplace to sit for a couple hours while I made some phone calls. Saw that there was a Walmart close by and routed my GPS to go there. Once there, it was clear that trucks weren't welcome, and had there been a few more cars in the lot, I wouldn't have been able to turn around and would have been stuck.

 

Whatever happens please let us know. If your company fires you let us know that too. There are people on here who can point you toward a better job.
