Good afternoon folks. Every once in awhile, my truck starts to growl or rumble from deep within her bowels, shake a little, then "belches" white/light gray smoke out of her stacks. She's been doing this since I got her. Sometimes she'll go weeks without doing it, other times (like yesterday) she'll do it several times a day.
I have yet to add a drop of oil in her (besides regular changes at 13,000 miles). I get a sample done by the people in Ft. Wayne every change, and they come back stellar. Report says I can go to 16,000 between changes if I want. I also had her overheads done a month ago.
Can this have anything to do with the fact that she's "neutered"? It's a DD S-60, 14L, DDEC VI.
Looking forward to your insights.
My truck has heartburn!
